I think I have been here before.
I feel like I know this place.
When I am suddenly surrounded by wind and light, my whole body starts to boil. The contours of my self dissolve infinitely, and I am separated from myself.
This “feeling,” which cannot be captured even in photographs, is present in Yosuke Yamaguchi’s paintings.
The 45 paintings are based on the artist’s constant interest in the origin of life and his awe of the sublime mysteries of nature.
